I am in danger of being washed away. Honestly.
So I finally managed to resize, watermark, and upload 36 photos from Italy. Believe me, 36 was a hard choice, and that's a third of my B&W photos. I haven't even attempted the color ones- there are about 500. I put the 36 in my LJ Scrapbook,
here. And here are my favorites (it was so hard to pick just a few!):
By the way, I am very proud that none of the photos are digitally manipulated beyond me adding my initials in the corners. The framing of the shot, the exposure, and the contrast are exactly as they are on the film.
A side of a courtyard at Castello Sforzesco, where the Duke of Milan lived when he had Leonardo working for him.
The view from my hotel room in Milan.
A fountain in Florence. Possibly my favorite photo from the trip, even though this could have been takein in Staunton.
Girls gettign ready for Calendimaggio in Assisi. My favorite is the girl almost all the way to the right. I love the expression on her face. (The girl who's slightly cut off also has a great expression.)
Olive trees on the way to San Damiano. They were so pretty. I actually submitted this to a contest.
No Italy trip is complete without photos of the Roman Forum! I do love this photo.
Also, I have a new layout. I can't customize this one, but I like it, so whatever.
