The fact that you used that Victuuri hug in the BG of the YOI icon makes me squee!:D SO CUTE! AAHHH!This post makes me miss watching some of these animes, maybe it's time to rewatch some of those. XD Daaaamn, xxxHolic was always beautiful and stood out!I remember looking at the coloured manga icons of that time in awe because it was magical! Sadly I do have to say I agree about Bleach just losing it after the Aizen arc. *sigh* I had hopes! I love the colouring and action pose in the icon!
The TTGL and Gundam icons look great!
I love iconing Kuraghime even though I never finished watching because of the outfits and your icon really works perfectly with the style of that animanga! Wait,I thought my brain couldn't handle the story/plot of Pandora hearts even though I liked it...for what I don't even know?!Now I see someone else too, lol! DRRR was one of a kind,I don't even know how to explain it to someone who hasn't watched it enough to make them interested in it.
I see what you mean about Haikyuu!I went in like ah okay, let's give it a try even though I didn't care about volleyball but I was so engrossed and loved many of the characters to pieces!Your Kenma icon is super cute!
I've heard about Kimetsu no Yaiba but have yet to watch it.Love that combo of colours in the icon. The Promare icon looks so good,I have never heard of it and usually don't watch anime films but your description is making me want to!
Hardest thing about doing a timeline of fandoms is not going back to rewatch so much stuff. I don't have the time, but.... I have a need....
Yeah I'm convinced only the author of PH had any idea what was even going on there. I remember art being pretty, and characters being fun, but the plot was just ??? It was such a popular manga back then too, and I'm pretty sure most people discussing the plot in LJ comms were just faking it for real.
I DEFINITELY recommend Promare, especially if you liked TTGL since it's the same studio/creators.... and the style is similar. It's just 2h of pure fun.
