I hate that you get to spend New Years with Angela. This is the first time in about 7 years that we won't be in the same place at the same time when a new year begins.
The sad thing is that I was given the entire week off, this Friday to next Saturday. PLUS, I had several offers to get me to New York this year, with countless promises that it wouldn't be awkward at all.
But that's something they can't really promise, is it?
