On Monday, we had a light dusting of snow during the day, which was surprising because, until the day before, the local weather people had made no mention of the possibility of snow in their long range forecast for the week. We got snow too this week, though not the predicted amount. Though a lot of it was horizontal.

Hope your mother stays healthy!

As for 2020 going out... Here one of the proposed drawings for the local newspaper today :




ETA : forgot to say it's d*mn cold too : -16C is the highest temp it's been today!

Thank you! I hope so, too. We're trying really hard to keep her that way. :-) Though it's hard to slow her down, even with mobility issues.

LOL! That cartoon is perfect. ::g:: Here's hoping 2021 treats us all better.

We didn't get as much snow as predicted - it turned over to sleet for awhile - but it was still a really big storm for December in these parts, top five in the record book. Luckily, we still have it on the ground because it stayed cold. \o/ But it's probably going to rain tomorrow, so, alas. :-(

I hope it's warmed up for you and that you'll have a wonderful holiday. :-)

We're supposed to have rain tomorrow and on Xmas day :-/

Goodbye snow!

It will be a rather quiet Christmas. Can only visit with one person at a time.
And the one I was supposed to visit tomorrow is down with back/shoulder problems.
Might be because of all the bookshelves she helped me move last week :-(

Next year will go better, one hopes!
