Very glad to hear all is well with you. :-) COVID-wise, all are safe and sound here, so far. ::knock on wood:: Hope it stays that way for us all. It's still weird going to the store, though, and seeing so many shortages of basic items. :-/

Curiously, here, shortages are in the renovation area (lumber and other things in the domain).

I guess, since nobody travelled this year, they decided to invest in their houses.

We've made due here with shortages and are in good shape, but I do wish the soap shelves would start to fill up again. That's the one thing that doesn't seem to be catching up.

One of my aunt used to make her own soap (she lived on a farm).

Never used it myself but I understand that it was rather... harsh on the skin :-/

Here, the only things we couldn't find (at the worst of the it) were toilet paper and hand satinizer. Ah, and masks.

Yep, those were the three for us, too, at first. Now masks and hand sanitizer are abundant, and toilet paper is getting back to normal. Soap, though...

My mom has some stories about homemade soap, too. I hope it doesn't come to that. :-/
