As any DS9 fan here probably knows, we lost one of our extended DS9 family this past weekend, Aron Eisenberg, who more than ably portrayed Nog.  To see how ably, may I suggest watching, or rewatching, It's Only a Paper Moon?  One of the strengths of DS9 was how much depth and character growth it gave even its secondary and recurring characters, and I don't think this is any more beautifully on display than in this ep.  Nog and Vic Fontaine, a Ferengi and a hologram, they carry the show.

Here is an extended clip from What We Left Behind, with Aron Eisenberg telling us what Nog and DS9 meant to him.  And he meant a lot to us.  RIP, good sir.
