You've heard about being able to fry an egg on the sidewalk or the car hood when it's really hot, right?  Well, how about baking biscuits inside the car?  This is what we've come to in what is likely to be record-breaking heat here in the US in the next few days. It's really miserable, isn't it? If I were to move, it'd have to be to someplace at least cool all the time, but is there any such place anymore? Not even Alaska. :-(

According to Tasmania's weather statistics, it's never too cold, and never too hot (winter stays above 0°C, and summer under 25°C).

Of course, there's rain...
I guess you can't get everything :-(

Hmm, I do like my cold winter weather, so I'd have to find someplace else for winter, but Tasmania sounds great for summer! I'm cool with rain. We had a thunderstorm tonight that broke the heat somewhat. It's still humid, but not quite as hot as yesterday. I hope you'll have some relief soon, too!

I could do without the 400cm snowfall of the last winter...

This week seems to be shaping up ok, but Friday? Back to 29C :-(
