Okay, so I cheated.  I have not watched the Season 7 premiere of The Walking Dead yet, but I did look online to see who fell victim to Lucille.  Of course I did.  I was
that Abraham was the first.  I was betting on him after seeing the Season 6 finale.  I thought they did a really good job of foreshadowing his death, what with his reconciliation with Eugene and his hope for a future with Sasha.  (I mean, being happy is a death sentence on this show.)  Heck, they even had Abraham's reflection alone in the RV's rearview mirror when the Saviors were shouting it was going to be someone's last day on Earth.  But I was surprised that they took out Glenn, too!  A lot of people were betting on him, because that's who gets it in the graphic novel, but, for that reason alone I thought it'd be someone else.  This show mixes it up all the time!  Like Denise dying the way Abraham does in the graphic novel.

Well, they did mix it up somewhat, but still!  If they were going to kill Glenn anyway, I wish they had spared Abraham.  I like him, and let's face it, this show needs someone who says things like "When you were pouring the Bisquick, were you trying to make pancakes?"

Hi, LJ land!  Long time, no see!  RL business and summertime malaise laid me out, but cool weather is here, and I feel awake again!  Not much new:  Got a new car (Yay!), have car payments (Ugh!), TV died (bad), got new smart TV (Yay!) that's paid for (W00t!), got new glasses (desperately needed), found out I have a hemorrhage in my right eye (wait, what).

How goes it with you folks?  All fine and fettle, I hope.

While I have you, may I just say to the rest of the world, regarding the US election, I apologize.  Please know that there are many of us here as horrified by it all as you are.  For myself, there are an infinite number of reasons why I will not vote for Donald Trump, but I wouldn't vote for him just based on his insulting campaign slogan.  Hey, fella, there's no need to make America great again, because America has never not been great, yo!
