FFVI comments part deux (free form)
-I’m usually close to level 16 when I finish Sabin’s scenario. He, Cyan and Gau usually have a good four level lead on the rest of the cast when everyone reunites in Narshe. I guess I’m basically doing a speedrun because I’m on the Veldt and only at about three hours, with my team only around level 14. Like my last PT, I’m determined to get a little more use out of Gau than my first couple of times. To that effect I’m going to hang on the Veldt until I can get him Stray Cat so he’ll basically be set for the WoB.
-My Sabin/Cyan ship still burns strong. I know more people don’t like it re: Cyan’s age, but I just can’t not see it. Especially with Gau acting as their child. (That said, I still ship Sabin/Shadow too because seriously, Sabin might be the person he’s nicest too in the entire game)
-I have a lot of ships for this game. They all sail with pride.
-The dialogue between Leo and Kefka seems more familiar, and Leo’s exasperation feels a lot more personal. It fits my headcanon ship for these two like woah.
-I want this game remade with sexified portraits like the PSP port of FFIV, but I don’t like the idea of playing a full RPG on my ios.
-Phantom Train is ridiculous. One Phoenix Down and poof.
-Trying to do the Lola Letter questline is annoying because it seems to take a million years in between the letters arriving. I’ve been going in between killing time getting Stray Cat on the Veldt but I think I’m not properly triggering the event flag.
