Bioware, which somehow illuminated the darkness of space, as well as making one of the best fantasy RPGs ever made. I love this company.

I finally picked up Awakening again. It's been awhile, mainly because I have been worried about my laptop overheating during play. I can't really afford to rush out and buy a new laptop. However, even with the danger, I finally got myself to play. I...kinda forgot what exactly was going on, though. :/ I finished up the caves and Sigrun's thing. The thing is...I'm supposed to get her to go through the Joining, but the problem is...well...everytime I try to do it, it tries to force me into a cutscene with the Amaranthine nobles. Maybe I should just go through it...
Even being a little rusty, the bosses were easy. I love Awakening. I wish some of the characters could get some more screen time! (Also, I still <3 Anders)
I'm working to finish this up, then move to Witch Hunt.
I've already figured out somethings revolving around my second PT. I will go through as a female human Mage. I will play something of a cynical character, who isn't so fond of Alistair (it's going to be hard to not be super nice to him T_T), and will replace him with Loghain at the end so I can see how that goes. She'll also romance Leliana. It'll be awesome, I am sure.
Now, as for the game I've been working on as much as possible...Mass Effect 2!
I've finished all the loyalty missions, and have romanced Miranda. I still feel pretty skeezy about it though, as Shep is gonna have to dump her for Kaidan or Garrus. (Sorry, Ms. Lawson...)
I've been going around and finishing up the missions before going to get the Reaper IFF. The Normandy Crash Site mission was pretty sad too- Just Shepard in the cold, with that sad music...aww! T_T. I also liked Pressley's Data Pad, and seeing the development he went through. The dogtag quest managed to be enjoyable and not tedious also, which is nice.
At this point, I am enjoying the class I chose. I use all the weapons, but I especially love my Geth Shotgun. It's so epic. One-hit kills a number of basic enemies. I also love my Charge ability. It's so powerful, and I love melee-ing enemies to death heh.
I like the majority of the loyalty skills too, though Zaeed's seems the most...lame? I mean, it's not bad or anything, but when compared to Samara's 'Reaver', or Jacob's 'Barrier', it just seems somewhat weak.
I love all the characters. Mordin singing Gilbert and Sullivan? Epic. Beyond belief.
My only sadness is that...I just don't really feel Grunt. I use him occasionally, but he just doesn't really resonant that well with me. It kinda feels like his development is kinda 'meh', especially when compared to the awesomeness that is Wrex. My issue though, heh.
Like with DA, I've been thinking about my second ME PT. I'll probably go through with Renegade Fem!Shep, Adept (I've heard so many awesome things about Singularity!), who will romance Liara. Yeah, because I'm totally doing some lesbian second PTs.
But yes, I love Bioware. It is excellent.
