Ramblings of the recent kind
Joe got his gun today, and the game I bought him also came in. (I got him Dante's Inferno) I also got Bayonetta in the mail today too. I know, I know, I'm way too poor to be spending money so immaturely. B-b-but It was a SALE. 50% any game over $20 last week. So...I just COULDN'T pass that up.
...Right?
Besides, Joe beat God of War the other day and needs something new to play. Maybe that'll keep him outta his bored funk.
I wanna play Bayonetta, but the Xbox is at my dad's, and I'm still working on Marvel Ultimate Alliance (and P3P) After I beat M:UA I want to play UA2 which I bought...a while ago...LOL
At least, I need to play it so I can download the new characters when they become available. :DD
Speaking of P3P, I am totally hooked. Like I mentioned before I named my FeMC 'Minako Arisato'. She's so cute <33 I'm doing a much better job at handling my social links than I did in P3 (of course, that was my first time...) I've already got a few SL at level 5 (Hierophant, Magician, Temperance, Hermit, Chariot, ect ect) and I've started Lovers, Star, Priestess, ect ect. I love the changes to the story when you're a girl. I'm not sure what the biggest change is yet, but your relationship with Yukari is totally different. It's awesome to see such a change.
I also love that all the playable characters get social links if you play as her. (Though it makes me wish that Minato had the same option) I love Junpei's social link tons so far <33 I also really like the two new social link girls, Rio and Saori. I like that Kenji is present in Rio's link, because I always liked him. (I'm not sure if I ever maxed his link in the last game though. Hm.) Saori is just cool.
Also? Mitsuru chewing Junpei out for making a negative comment about Minako's gender was WIN. I love Minako though, and the characters all seem to be really close to her. Like...Junpei is really close to Minato too (I would definitely say that Junpei can be classified as his "best friend") but in Minako's path he is more gentle and protective.
And the game is just so addicting X_X I'm at like...June 26th right now and have finished the second block in Tartarus. I need to start the S Link with Akinari and Mitsuru, but my Academics is too low. I managed to get high enough courage to start the Akihiko S Link, but I'm still lacking the courage to start the monk one. (I actually have never started the monk one. I didn't even know he existed until I ran into him in the club one night.)
Of course, I'm not using a guide. I finally made that damn Valkyrie with Tarukaja too! Like...I remember that request in FES and It took me FORVEVER to complete it (I actually had to look it up when I did!) but this time I just played around until I finally was able to make her. It's just funny because making a Jack Frost with Dia, or a Vetala with Maragi is so much easier to me than a damned Valkyrie with Tarukaja! LOL.
Oh! And I love that you actually get more costumes in this version. I bought both Junpei and Akihiko's Tuxedos (<3333) and got Minako, Mitsuru and Akihiko's winter clothing from quests. I love all the outfits in the game. <333
Yeah, anyway, I'm just gushing. Dad is gone until next tuesday (!!!) in Jackson, doing work stuffs. So we have to wake up early to go out to my house, let the dogs out (which takes forever because Dingo refuses to use the bathroom and not play with stuff ever) and then head to work. After work we head straight back there again too. Whew.
Anyway, dinner is ready. We're gonna eat with Joe's mom before she has to leave for work. I better go. Marjory and Charlie should be coming over around 7:30 for us to watch 'When They Cry'. I'll post some more later. :)
