Affirmations like this makes the work I do worth it.
So I was writing my honours thesis a semester ago. After submitting my first full draft, my advisor returned it with this note at the end:
"V. nice piece of work! You can't imagine how big my smile is while reading this - while sipping my coffee. People walking past me at this cafe must be thinking I'm a real loony! :)"
This made the multiple consecutive all-nighters and the coffee diet all worth it.
Just thought I'd share it here as a record in case I ever lose that note :)
