I heart the new Strokes.
I go away for a weekend or two and the whole social structure of Gainesville just collapses. But you know, for once, I am glad to not be in the middle of this free-for-all. It seems the kids are getting along just fine without me.
In other news my weekend was totally killer. I spent Friday sleeping and then hanging out with Bella. We went to this really stupid high school show in the middle of nowhere, missed seeing the one band that had any promise, got threatened by dumb "scene" kids over a bouncy ball, Amos drives faster than me, and hot chocolate at Barnes and Noble is not vegan.
Saturday I did some more sleeping, hung out with Loren and Jordan, went to a killer b-day party where I was nominated as the best gift giver. Word.
Sunday was even more sleeping and some fun times with Loren, Matt, and Jordan. Steve Hooper finally got his in-person visit. I am a better pilot than Steve, and I promise that in a round or two more I would have been a better gunner.
Anyways, I am home now in G'ville. And I am also hungry, time to go rock the meal plan.
