Valentine's Day Dance

Sylvie had never worked so hard on something in her life. Thankfully she had a lot of help and the dance turned out brilliantly. She used a traditional Valentines Day color palette for the dance...reds, white, pinks...a little bit of gold for accent. She kept it subdued and classy because Valentines decorations can get tacky easily.

Lottie and Alfie got there early to set up the equipment and then he told to go find her guy and he'd get the party started. He wants her to have fun. He doesn't have a date and he's fine with that. He's just glad to be here.

He's wearing a festive suit. It's black with a floral pattern and little hearts. He always has to stand out.

"That's quite a look, mate," Blue chuckles. But he's bold to be teasing anyone about their clothes when he's currently rocking a rather loud pink suit. He's not sure he can pull off pink but it makes Sofie happy so...

"Find a mirror, dude," Alfie thinks Blue looks great though. But he has to tease him.

Blue laughs "I'm avoiding them to be honest."

"Actually you look really good," Alfie said. "You totally pull off the pink."

Graham isn't supposed to be here. And he wasn't going to come but he got bored and wanted to see Sylvie. Mulciber is pretty much stick to Sylvie's side so he has to wait for his chance. He really ought to lay low but he can't.

He asks one of his housemates, one of the few that's actually talking up him, to give Alfie a message.Graham had seen the oldest Flint leave the dance so has Asher Warrington tell Alfie that Aiden needed to talk to him. Then he waited

Alfie is worried that something is wrong with Aiden. So when when he sees Montague at first he's relieved but that relief quickly turns into annoyance."What do you want?" He demands.

"How's the dance?" He asks.

"You didn't ask me to come out here so you could ask how the dance was. " Alfie advanced on him. He's been waiting for Montague to give him a reason... just one reason.

He's hoping. One punch. One really hard punch and then Alfie will be in trouble too. He still owes him for that sucker punch (even though Montague punched him back).

"How's Sylvie? Having fun with her date? Her date that isn't you?"

He's still closer to Montague than he should be. But he smiles," They're having a great time. Everyone is. Including me.*

"It doesn't bother you? Everyone knows you like Sylvie and they're all laughing at you. And while they're all laughing you get to stand there and watch her while she throws herself at Mulciber. He's husband material, you're not. You're just werewolf scum." Honestly Graham isn't sure why he needs to pick a fight with Alfie. Maybe it's because he's in trouble at home. The kind of trouble that'll end up with him needing a healer once his dad gets a hold of him . But he's ready to fight someone because the fear is burning him up inside.

Maybe it was calling him werewolf scum? He's not sure. But something snapped him. He shoved Montague against the wall. "Fuck you!'"

Montague grins. "Uh oh. I hit a nerve."

Alfie's hands were shaking. He was itching to grab his wand or punch Montague. But he left his wand in the DJ area.

“It’s funny,” Aubrey says from behind them, “isn’t it?"

He’d noticed Alfie missing entirely by accident, looking across the crowd while talking to Cadeyrn. It had only take a few enquiries to find where he’d gone. Asher was your basic dumb kid, too stupid to work out what was going on, too stupid not to just repeat a message Aubrey knew was wrong. He’d given Aiden the password to get in to Baby Snake’s singalong himself; it’d be changed by morning anyway. So he’d headed in the same direction, and not a moment too soon, it seemed.
