Bolly's ability to immediately obtain a stacked plate of sausage rolls at any gathering that offered them was unparalleled. His present for Sylvie, a large crocheted soft toy snake with button eyes, felt tongue, and a tickle-triggered animation charm that made it wriggle when you scratched its head, had taken him until basically the last second to finish, and he felt he deserved a reward.

"I started off trying something way more complicated," Bolly admitted, "but I gotta find out how to do joints and things because it looked so bad. So bad!" He giggled. "This one is basically just the wristband you showed me, but longer, and two of them sewn edge to edge so I could stuff the inside."

Bolly nods. "Yeah, dad was worried that Auggie wasn't socialising enough, even though he totally was. So we made him a schedule of cousin check-ins. Madame Rowan's not a cousin, so far as I know, but she could still go on the list."
