This is wonderful! I love how you've incorporated nearly everyone in glee club into it somehow, and connected them in such interesting ways. The first sentence of the Brittany and Santana section made me laugh out loud. As did "drama llama". LOL.

I was actually sucked into this by your story's title. I love that song...The Killers (my personal fave band) do an amazing cover of it. ;)

In short...bravo! We need more gen!fic in this fandom.

Thank you! Although I must give the credit for the "drama llama" line to my beta. She thought that I needed some glee club slang in there and suggested that.

omg I had no idea the Killers did a cover! I'm off to find that right now.

I tried to work in Matt but for some reason it wasn't working. If I hadn't had the time constraints of Yuletide I think I would have worked him in (I was mostly doing a lot of running around and wringing my hands. Ah, fic challenges. Such a joy!)

This was really great! Quinn's section broke my heart a bit, but I love how you wrote her. Fantastic story!

Thank you! Quinn's section was my second-favorite to write (after Brittany and Santana, of course); she's just such an interesting character.

Oh, this fic. I remember reading it a long time ago and I guess I forgot to save the link or something because I wanted to reread it but couldn't find it again for the longest time.

I really liked all of the sections, but 1st period was my favorite. It reads so true to Mercedes and Kurt's friendship. Kurt would definitely threaten to end their friendship (even if he didn't mean it) over a fashion faux-pas.

Slinking through the halls toward her locker, she calls on strength. Oh, not from Jesus. She needs more. She needs Beyoncé.

I actually laughed out loud at this. We don't really know that much about Mercedes, but this seems about right.

And I have to mention, the fact that Rachel already has a song picked out for her schoolmates' funeral? Probably scarily accurate.

I feel like it's just a logical conclusion in her head. I can imagine the spreadsheet she has on her computer that lists song possibilities for every situation.
