edgefest
so yesterday i worked at edgefest. the morning was hot like almost every other day around here. around 5 or so when the presidents of the usa went on stage, it started getting really windy.. REALLY windy. they had to stop playing on the stage i was working at and on the other main stage, the vinyl on the top of the roof blew off cuz of the winds, everyone backstage was running around like crazy. we had to rush and get lights down and lower the roof before anything bad happened. so eventually it calmed down and the presidents came on and finished their set. then the next band on the other main stage went on and we got set for the format. they were good. during their set we had to run to the dressing rooms and get something corporates heavy ass piano. next flogging molly was on the other main stage. we went to dinner and about 3 songs into their set rain came from out of nowhere and it poured! they stopped the show for good this time. all the crowd left and we had to stay and cover things up and run around in the flooded ground. didn't get out of there until about 2 hours after they shut it down. so i was soaking and sore and tired. also during this day, i locked my keys in my car, got elbowed in the face by adam panic, and my phone got wet and stopped working. fucking hell
