so. you're looking at my requests, and probably thinking to yourself that I'm really very random. and gay. (unless you're furies or quasiradiant, in which case you know how random and gay I am as you've a)shared alcohol with me, b)made out with me or c)both.)
and, you know, you're really right on target there. but you should probably use my randomness to your advantage. cause, really, chances are I'll enjoy anything you write for me (so long as you follow the universal rule of using spellcheck and a beta).
but, yes. should you like some clarification on your chosen prompt I'm going to helpfully provide it.

Uglies - I can pretty much guarantee that any story that gets written in this fandom will make me happy. Scott Westerfield is my new favorite and just the fact that people I don't live with signed up to write it makes me do dances of joy (yeah, no, I won't show you what that looks like). that said, if you go the Shay/Tally Cutter-era route, please don't feel a need to hold back on the dark, animalistic thing they had going then. Specials are scary asses, and Cutters bring that to a whole new level and I like that. I want to see that primal thing, especially from Shay, but whether or not there's actually sex of any kind is totally up to you. if you go for Smoke!fic, my only note is that I'm not really keen on the Tally/David OTP (at least not at that point in canon), so I'd rather that be at most a background to the story.
VIP - I'm a huge fan of the campy tongue-in-cheekness of this show, and that's really what I'd like to see in a story. I don't take the Val/Tasha romance too seriously, nor do I think the characters would. silly and funny and that always yummy tension where Tasha is this close to killing Val would make me oh so happy.
Medical Investigation - even though my original prompt doesn't say anything about it, I'd be totally cool with a gen story about the team working together on a case or Nat/Eva friendship fic. however, if you're writing this prompt you're probably one of, like, four people in this fandom (and I probably know you) and are okay with writing the girlgay. and I'll probably love whatever you write me.
The 4400 - like I said in my original prompt, PLEASE DEAR GOD NO SHAWN/ISABELLE*. other than that, I really do like most everyone on this show (I've grown tired of Alana this last season, and never really could bring myself to care about Lilly/Richard, but) and will read good fic about them with a giant smile on my face.
*unless you are brilliant and crazy and fit it into one of the last three suggestions of my prompt and make it dark and hurty and crazy. still, though, NO OTP PLEASE THANK YOU.

all you really need to know about me and NCIS fic is this: I'm easy to please. as long as you keep the angst & woe and the boy parts to a minimum, you're pretty much guaranteed to make me happy like woah.
which is why I'm not going to bother to elaborate on my requests. I trust you to write something I'll love, but if you feel the need to verify that what you're writing is up my alley, go ahead and check out my NCIS recs at either femficrecs or at crack_van (I drove for October) or my fic, which can be found in my memories. if you're still doubting after all that, turn on an episode, enjoy yourself and go from there.
