sorrowing like a squirl past a rabbit

It was a little more than exciting to be flying first class on our way to city that was not as big as Los Angeles. Nonetheless It made me think of nothing more than the most positive things even in the most bad circumstances. Like a gift for the champions whom already been through so much in one town fighting the creatures of the night to save ( Read more... )

My eyes were quick to widen as Cordy turned around and used her words more or less wisely. I lightly giggled before catching a glimpse of the look she was giving Cordy. I didn't want a big scene or anything and with this lady you could never really know what she's going to do. I pulled a strand of my hair behind my ear as Cordy continued to taunt the lady seated next me. I did admire her for having the courage say things that I'd never in a million bazillion years would ever be able to do. I slowly smiled back as I centered myself in my seat.

"Just think. A few minutes and we're home. Or .. whatever you want to call it."

I nodded even though with all the bad things that has happened on the plane I was rather enjoying myself. It was interesting and I had never done it before. An experience I'd never forget along with other various demon killing adventures but this one I could definitely say I didn't want to leave just yet. I've heard several stories of people being afraid to fly but for some reason aviation has been something I've always wanted to learn. Now just being in a plane was suiting me just right.

I could tell Cordy wasn't all that excited about the trip to Cleveland. Or maybe it was just another change she'd have to get used to. We were all going to have to make changes in our everyday life, some more harder than others. I was also a little nervous but going to no where's land couldn't be worse than staying in big flashy city full of junkies, actors, and several Tmsoni demon nest laying all around the city. I smiled once more trying to make this journey not sound so bad.

"I'm sure it's going to be a great place, I think I may even read somewhere had they had really nice tourist attractions besides the Amish of course."

Cleveland was in the middle of Amish country and I had almost forgotten until I looked up a few seats to see some very nice amish children. They were really cute playing with some type of wooden toy in their seats. Of course they were well behaved and if you didn't look right at them you'd probably even miss them they were so quiet. I turned my attention back to Cordy. I tilted my head once more as I thought about Angel. It was weird but I was more than curious to know where he was. The plane isn't that big so there was only so many places he could go.

"Hey Cordy do you happen to know where Angel is?"

"I'm sure it's going to be a great place, I think I may even read somewhere had they had really nice tourist attractions besides the Amish of course."

We've been moved from Los Angeles, with all of its great sun and celebrities and ... everything to Cleveland with their Amish. Not that I had anything against the Amish, but I kinda like my celebrities more.

"Well, woohoo for the Amish. As long as we're not going to be living with them or you know, fighting Amish demons .."

Well, I was just shoving my foot into my mouth further and further. I stopped and glanced back out the window before turning in my seat to face Fred once again.

"Hey Cordy do you happen to know where Angel is?"

"Brooding in the bathroom somewhere?" I shrugged, smiling at her.

"I haven't gotten the foggiest. I think we need to tie a bell around his neck like a cat or something. Just to keep track of him."

That wasn't such a bad idea in theory. But knowing him, that would just lead to something new to brood about.
