1 week 'till Christmas
My favorite holiday! Too bad Ian doesn't like it.
Still don't have the apartment. The landlord told me to call at 8:30 this morning to set up a time so I could see it today. But she didn't answer her phone or call me back. Grr. Maybe I should start looking elsewhere - too bad that's the cheapest I've ever been able to find within a 20 minute driving range.
Couldn't go to the McCutcheon's Xmas party for the first time ever, that sucked. I had to work 4-midnight. Though, becuase the landlord never called me, I did get to go to my great grandmother's Christmas party. Damn I'm getting old! ...22 - I was 16, SIX years ago! Why is that so weird to me? All these youngins in the family going to be freshmen, graduating, growing up... 'you're such a big boy, my how you've grown' *pinches cheeks* lol. It'll be fun having a baby 2 weeks before my cousin, who just had a baby 6 months ago too!
Still hoping for a boy! We don't find out until Jan 4th though. Get to hear the heartbeat tomarrow. LOL, listen to me, getting all excited and shit - me! the girl who NEVER wanted a child. Eh, shit happens, guess I'm in love now - with the little alien inside me that's stretching and cramping my body.

This was my first ultrasound around 9 weeks:

Hopefully in January I can show you another ultrasound and tell you it's name is Xavier Vinchenzo Teixeira... but if it's a girl I don't know what the fuck we'll name it.
Oh, and we had my blood tests back and everything's normal, no downsyndrome baby!
