"Buffy the Vampire Slayer" (once more for the ones in the back row). I see this question as two questions. Let me just drop some quick answers to both sides of it.
Why do I enjoy watching Buffy or thinking about it?
I really like many, many of the characters. I remember watching the early seasons for the first time and having this feeling like my favorite character is coming onscreen, almost every time a recurring character came onscreen.
It's trope inversion heaven. I enjoy the meta, genre-savvy quality in the plots and dialogue.
Dialogue is generally great.
It's funny.
It's playful. Anything is possible.
It has a strong moral dimension that isn't primitive and that I can largely agree with (I'm interested in the choice/freedom, power/responsibility themes and probably so much else that I've forgotten to mention). So it can help me figure parts of life out and feel better about being in life.
It's inspiring.
Feminism. The show isn't perfect in this sense, of course, but a lot of it is still very very nice.
Queer stuff, ditto.
There's Spuffy.
Why do I currently enjoy having Buffy as my favorite TV show with all that it entails?
My OTP happens to be a major ship (or I happen to be a raging conformist), so it has hella fics and meta.
There's generally hella fics and meta (and fanart), and a serious lot of it is very good.
This fandom has a fairly long and vast history, so that's interesting, and I enjoy the feeling of discovering (and slightly participating in) something so much bigger than myself.
Fic tends to have refreshingly quirky dialogue, play with language. Punniness.
Because of the way the Buffyverse is and the way the scripts are written (many episodes feel like wacky AUs already in canon), there are so many interesting AU options, and fic does explore that.
For reasons that I'm not examining closely right now, it seems I'm in a phase where can read a nearly unlimited amount of love stories about a couple like Spuffy. Apparently some themes or dynamics of Spuffy interest me strongly at the moment. Amazing superhero sex is one of these, of course.
