I don’t care what went wrong, I want those couplings-

Shtel Nor? What is that supposed to be? Oh I get it. This is a prank, right? Guys beamed me out of the ship. Very funny. Now send me back.

A prank is an action that is intended to cause non-lethal harm to a person in the hopes of a humorous reaction and ending. Captains James T. Kirk of 2258.55 and 2258.50 are very well known for this.

[ She paused almost as if she was beeing humerous herself. ]

I am afraid that this is no "prank." Shtel Nor is a Cardassian Station that is currently within the Romulan Neutral Zone. You are here with several others from various times of Starfleet History. My apologizes that I am unable to send you home.

Yeah, I know what a prank i- are you serious?

[The listing of stardates certainly didn't help- especially since they were two years too far forward.]

It's 2256.78.

For you, this is entirely possible. However the residents of Shtel Nor come from variations of stardates. The internal date of the station itself is 2540.

...you have got to be kidding.

So what am I supposed to do here? I have other things I have to be taking care of.

As do many others. For now you will have to try and make a life here as others and myself attempt to find a way to send you home.

It is required that every resident of Shtel Nor have records. Please state your name, age, hailing Stardate, place of birth, and loyalty to galactic powers, and rank.

[ A beep. ]

You have been recorded into the database. There are several here with stardates that are close to yours. Would you prefer to hear them? Many enjoy knowing that they have friends here.

Oh sure. Let's just keep this trip going.

Very well. There are 22 people from 2258, 1 from 2257, and 2 from 2255.

...right. Anyone I know?

[ Her facial expression changed. ]

That would depend entirely on your background. I only have access to the figures of Starfleet's History, Lieutenant. The major of these from these stardates are James T. Kirk, Captain and Cadet respectfully. And Lt. Commander Leonard H McCoy. Are you acquainted with these?

That would be no. You're oh-for-one so far. Care to try again?
