[It seems that the observation deck has become something of a favorite place for this Spock. It was a place to clear his head, and after recent events that was certainly what he needed. Jim’s resignation, assuming command and his subsequent debate with the doctor… His crew- his friends- seemed to be falling apart underneath of him. And so he ( Read more... )

[ Amaryllis had noticed the Commander standing on the deck for sometime. He wasn't the same one she had spoken too. Though again it seemed like something troubled the Vulcan. It seemed like most the residents on this station were troubled with one thing or another. She slowly approached him, tilting her head to the side. ]

[Spock heard her approach, still only waiting for the last moment to turn and face her, an almost desperate, irrational hope that whoever it was had seen someone else of interest and would pass by him fluttering its fleeting way through his mind. And yet, it was with utmost courtesy that he addresesed her.]

[ Her head tilted to the side, giving a shake. She did not require to know how he was or what was on his mind. She wanted to know, yes, but that wasn't the same. Or at least it wasn't given what she knew of their languages. She offered a small smile and stood next to him, looking out the window. ]

Judging by your manner it is likely that we have not met before.

[He took up a position adjacent to him, but at a respectful distance, arms clasped behind his back.]

Since the other Spock from our year and I are well acquainted, I can only presume you are the Spock from 2258.50.

Unless, of course, you are newly arrived to our station, which is another possibility to consider.

We have not. I am indeed from 2258.50.

[He wondered almost vaguely if more explanation was required, though that did not seem to be the case. That concluded, he then turned to an almost-different topic.]

You will pardon me if I am less...amicable than is usual.
