So this is what the coffee shop is like when the students aren't here...

I have some thing to admit to you all. I have a prejudice. It is a prejudice against trashy looking people (even more so trashy looking women) with mullets.

It isn't so much that I hate these people, it is more that I laugh at them and also judge their intelligence and to a certain extent their social worth. It's not good, I know, but at least I'm not pretending it doesn't exist.

Well this prejudice is not helped by the woman who just walked in at the coffee shop. Too tight, bad-fitting jeans, a slightly too small black tanktop and tattoos on the arm fat. But that's not what really drew my attention. The first thing I noticed was the color of the hair. You don't see hair that is THAT bleached that often. It is only a slightly yellow white.

Yet even more disturbing is the style of the hair. When she first walked in I thought it was almost like a beehive. In the front of the head the hair is teased up to a good 8 inches above the scalp. But then she turned around and I realized that it was long (and very damaged from the bleaching) in the back. IT WAS A BLEACHED BEEHIVE MULLLET. That was sans doubt (p.s., I hate mullets, but I love pretention) the worst mullet I have ever seen.  Even worse than the man I saw at Disneyland whose mullet ponytail stopped not a foot above his butt and was decorated with evenly spaced ponytail holders.

I have never wished so much that I had a camera phone, but it is probably better I don't.  This post is mean enough without me sending people a picture of this poor woman.

But come on, I realize this is Dixon, but it isn't like it is Kentucky or Riverside or something, or the 1980s.  How can she really think it looks good?

P.S., mildly disturbed by the fact a Very Large man and a girl of about 9 years of age just went into the one stall bathroom together.

I may have to stop coming to the coffee shop at times when there aren't tons of students here...
