Magnetic poetry of sorts

Mar 11, 2007 18:11

This entry is comprised of single lines from songs I'm trying to organize perfectly for a couple of cds....FOR WHEN I GET TO GO PICK UP ERIN!!! (Yes, I'm actually going on spring break for the first time in my life. Yes, it's Hillsdale MI. Yes, it's for barely two days. BUT...it's still a little bit of a road trip!) You might have fun trying to guess them!

Dark was the night, cold was the ground,
But different than the day before
Drinking down your dinner all alone
Turn your lights down low,
Only echoes passing through the night
Came here only yesterday from the worst place on this Earth
Come all without, come all within,
Into one billion tastes and tunes
You can't say no

Wound up tight in the middle of the night
Lying awake, intent on tuning in on you
Held like the last girl on earth--
The emblem of the brave and true,
And play the role of Little Miss Sweet
Yes, I'm certain that it happens all the time
Well me, I wish that I could claim the same...

Wrote down what he dreamt,
And maybe it will bring my love to me
You know that's hard for me to say,
I'm only saying this 'cause I wish for the best
I hope it's already too late

Bright mornings, days when I want so much--
I'm the bold adventurer
Indians lying on dawn's highway bleeding
Dreams walking in broad daylight
Your eyes red and hazy,
Like some junkie cosmonaut
Will they find the solution in time?

We resist and resume
