Tommy and I are back together! It's for the right reasons this time--I want to be with him, but I don't need to be with him. I'm beyond wanting just anyone...out of addiction. Tommy is the guy for me.
Recycling was a bitch yesterday. If I ever try to sign up to help with move in recycling again, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, DON'T LET ME. It was HOT. I got a serious fucking migraine from the heat last night and called in today. I feel bad for letting Shane and company down, but I don't want to kill myself before school even begins.
I've been bumming it today, enjoying the air con more than I ever have before. Reading Voices From Chernobyl, a very depressing (but very good) oral history of the Chernobyl disaster. And (
frodolives33 should be pleased with me), I've been working on switching my files and habits to operate with iTunes instead of Media Player. I just updated to the most recent version of MP to find that it is TERRIBLE. It is possibly the least user-friendly music player that I've ever seen. So I said to myself, "Self, it's time we give iTunes a fair try." My critique of iTunes includes the fact that it is a pain-in-the-ass to get all of my files accumulated and organized properly. For example, iTunes has not recognized my beloved songs by The Zombies, so I have to search for them and relocate them...individually. Also, the auto-conversion process is taking FOOOOORRRRRREEEEEVER.
