Chicken Pox Sucks (not so much)

Chicken pox sucks. Big Time. I felt really ill on March 13 with a recurring fever, it became quite clear what it really was when the lesions started to appear Sunday morning. It was all over my body for the next few days, not to mention my big fat face. Arggh! Panic galore.

The eternal silver lining finder in me listed a couple of things that made my two week absence from work bearable:

Rest. Finally. Teletech moved my hairline a bit north. I am able to sleep 8 hours a day, which according to science, is healthy.

Read piled books under my bed. I was able to finish Howard Schultz's "Pour Your Heart Into It". I ought to write a review of the book. It's just fantastic, venti levels. I have now started the Iyengar's "Light On Yoga" which I borrowed from Monty. Should be good.

Watch my anime dvds. Paradise Kiss. Jigouku Shouju. I love them to bits. Mite, shinde miru?

Watch my fave Korean series on KBS. The sitcom "Unstoppable Minute" and drama "Likeable or Not" are just too wonderful to pass. GMA 7's J-dorama "Hana Kimi" is such a delight too. I don't care if the Taiwanese made it into a drama first. The material is Japanese and the drama is just too kawaiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!!!!

Bond with Ma and Pa. Confined inside the house to escape ridicule and being a walking weapon of biological warfare, made me realize how much I haven't really stayed home that much. Got to talk with them, laugh with them, and the entire 7th heaven stuff.

I can't imagine the everest level of work I have to face when I return next week. C'est la vie. After all, it shouldn't be all that bad. I just have to call the silver lining finder in me again.

anime, health, life update
