work!
this wont mean much to anyone else but it's a tad worrying to me...
i've been given the responsiblity of testing the interface between Network Rail (UK railway) and CTRL (channel tunnel rail link), CTRL project 576 stage 12 to be precise.

i have to test and make sure everything is working, so that signallers can route freight trains in either direction to or from the new sidings at Dagenham Dock on to the channel tunnel rail link!
understandabley i am cacking myself a bit.
if i sign it off and it gets commissioned, and then doesn't work on site it will be my fault!
there are some guys from Paris coming in to check via modems if the remote links and stuff will work, and i have to come in to work with them!
i've only been doing this job for 1 year and it's suddenly gone all hardcore!
eeek, im scared
im sure it'll be 'charicter building' though
in other news... hasn't it turned out to be a nice sunny day
summer is the best!
