A Few Random Things...
Swamped and pushed and stressed at work. Eleven days to toes in the water, ass in the sand and trying to get things organized and as finished as possible at work before I go. But hey, whatever doesn't get done...will wait. And, with any luck, when I return from vacation, I will be returning to my new cubicle.
Eleven days to toes in the water and ass in the sand!!!! Woooooo Hoooooo! Not to mention drink in my hand, the reading of trashy novels and the being of unhooked from technology. Although...I do have the effing iPhone now. I will attempt to refrain as much as possible from checking work e-mail.
Still filled with a lot of Squeee and giddiness with regard to C, Sweetie, and M. Too many emotions and silliness and bubbly thoughts there to type on a computer monitor. I'm just going to ride this ride as long as it lasts. Wheeeeeeeeeeee!!!
The Dave Matthews Band concert on Friday night was pretty good. Truthfully, I enjoyed the opening act, The Zac Brown Band, better. I am a newer DMB fan and they played a lot of stuff I didn't recognize. The other thing was, we had General Admission tickets which meant no seats and being pressed upon by a sweaty mass of humanity. Do Not Want! This spoiled girl won't go to a concert like that again. Yup...picky. I just want the option of being able to sit and not be pushed by psycho-fans trying to get to the front and having beer spilled down my back. Too damn old for that shite.
