You're gonna get bored of macro real quick. Especially since winter is coming. It would make more sense to wait until you have longer lenses to get the tubes. That way, you can use the shorter extension tubes for close-up portraits/shallower DOF, instead of just for macro. Look at the majority of your gallery. It seems like you like to shoot events/cars. You'd benefit a lot more from having more reach with hsm/usm/faster focusing for aiservo.

I'm still planning on buying the Sigma 150 next month (I already have half of the price saved up, I can easily afford next month). But even with the 1:1 I still plan on getting tubes to get even closer.

I do really want the 85mm for event shit, but I need a long lens.
