Awww. The image of the Doctor on that ride is hilarious! I thought maybe the end would be a little bittersweet but it really lovely.

lol, isn't it though? I think that's half of why I wrote this, the image of it was just too hilarious. Thank you!

Thank you! I sort of set out to make it angstier than it actually is, but Mickey felt like being cheerful, and I think the Mickey/Rose friendship is really cute, so he won, lol.

I love Mickey so damn much. He's always loved Rose and he probably always will, but he loves her enough to understand that her heart does not belong to him and he wants the best for her, he wants her to be happy.

Anyway, I love your fics. I really do but one of my biggest regrets is that we'll never get to see Mickey at the Gingerbread 'verse. A part of me wishes he'd stayed at Pete's World so he could have wacky adventures with 10.5, Rose, Jake, and alt!Donna. He's an awesome character and I am so glad to see you writing him.

The whole fic was bittersweet, Rose is clearly missing the Doctor yet Mickey gives her hope in the end. Perfectly balanced, in my opinion. Mickey, the idiot saves the day once again.

Good job! I loved it.

I really do like Mickey a lot. I'm sort of sad he didn't stay in Pete's World, too, because he's a lot of fun to write (plus I don't see the point if he's not actually going to be on Torchwood...). I think friendship between him and Rose is really sweet, and I think she probably leaned on him a lot in the space between season 2 and 4. It was fun to get to explore that a little.

Thanks! I'm glad you liked it.

Lol! I could actually picture the Doctor on the ride, all arms and legs.

I love that the image inspired you to write such a bittersweet story, you said you where going for more angst(save it for your 'genocide' story :P) but this was just perfect.

Hurray for Mickey and the teddy bear!

Hahaha it makes quite a ridiculous image, not gonna lie.

Bittersweet is a good word for it. I'm not sure how well Mickey lends himself to total angst, lol.

Thanks!
