It's a bit late again, but since you guys didn't write much for the last challenge (although the fics we got were lovely!) I figured it's time to shift gears.
This week's challenge will feature both pictures and poetry for you to choose from.
But wait for me,

A rose.
Sometimes I miss you
the way someone drowning
remembers the air
We were together. I forget the rest.
There are things sadder
than you and I. Some people
do not even touch.
Beautiful, sobbing
high-geared fucking
and then to lie silently
like deer tracks in the
freshly-fallen snow beside
the one you love.
That’s all.
In the dimly lit room
I had a brief glimpse of bliss:
sight of your naked body
like a god reclining.
That was all.
My blood
suddenly
knows you are gone
It is shouting your name
It runs
down to the ends of my fingers
looking for you
If suddenly
you forget me
do not look for me,
for I shall already have forgotten you…
But
if each day,
each hour,
you feel that you are destined for me
with implacable sweetness,
if each day a flower
climbs up to your lips to seek me,

We spoke all night in tongues,
in fingertips, in teeth.
There are a few things I will miss,
a girl with no shirt on
lighting a cigarette
and brushing her hair in the mirror;
the sound of a mailbox
opening, somewhere,
and closing at two in the morning
of the first snow,
and the words for them
