The Anniversary of Nothing

The Anniversary of Nothing. TenII/Rose, all ages.
(Because I told myself I would write fluff, and because this is the only picture yet to be used. ;) Featuring audio, because I recently discovered how easy making recordings is, because poetry is beautiful spoken, and because that might be the kind of thing you're into.)

Oh, this was gorgeous. And I'll be the first to admit that usually poetry isn't my thing, but oh my gosh, hearing it spoken brings a new level to it. That was beautiful. You have a lovely reading voice and did such a fantastic job with this.

Someone tell me how in all the years I was forced to study poetry that we never really read anything outloud? Because this is brilliant.

The one thing I learned while writing poetry (it used to be all I wrote, though that was years ago and this challenge is dusting away the rust) is how different it sounds out loud. It gives it the potential to be a living thing, and my poetry mentor for years (and may many delicious pastries come his way for years to come because he was AMAZING) wouldn't let me finish a piece without reading it aloud to myself. I was thinking about all the poetry slams I'd done in my life when the bug to record things bit me.

You've no idea how happy it makes me that this worked so well for you. Thank you for the R&R, and if you can find more spoken poetry out there, it's freakin' awesome, and might give you a little flavor for stanzas in addition to prose ;). xoxo

most importantly
skinny dip like ethereal fish,
on this, the anniversary
of absolutely nothing

Beautiful. It's so perfectly them, to delight in everything for no particular reason at all. ♥

Thank you. I was looking for a way to describe what the title meant to me and why I loved it so, and there you went and nailed it. :D

I'm really trying hard to figure out what exactly to say about this, but I just don't have anything other than beautiful, marvelous, amazing and a host of other adjectives. This is just so them and so sweet.
