The ache of it, how desperate he is to find Rose again and then it not being Rose, but he doesn't care because it's almost close enough. And yeah, of course Hannah/Belle would be attracted despite herself. Great fic.

I really think if he met Hannah/Belle after Doomsday or Journey's End, she would be enough because she had to be. After Doomsday though, I think she would be close enough because he's broken, but after JE I think its because he's hardened and wants a reprieve (well, and broken, and misses her. But JE saps a little of my sympathy. >.>)
