St Louis trip
I just got back from a trip to St Louis to meet up with some friends. One of the things we did was to take some pictures for then_now. We got a good many of our pictures from here and most of what we used were downtown. Unfortunately, a good many of them have nothing that remotely resembles anything from the original picture. Some only had a couple of distant buildings in the picture. I may post some of these. I'm in the process of seeing what I actually have and trying to remember which picture is of what, so we'll see. I do have some that better fit the intent of this community, so I'll get those posted today.
Incidentally, I worked back from the above page and wound up at this site. It has lists of historical web sites from around the country, most with lots of pictures. It's spotty at best, but it may be worth checking out.
