I just remembered staying up late on Wednesdays in grade 7 and 8 to listen to Punk-o-rama on the Edge, when it used to be hosted by Strombo. Apparently it was cancelled last month. I bet they don't have the indie hour any more either. I feel like a dickhead being jaded and 20, but I grew up listening to the CFNY and they have provided me with one disappointment after another in my late teens. I guess the internet means the radio is basically a non-entity for 11 and 12 year-olds now, but I still find it sad.
Related: The other day I decided that if I could time travel I would pick the uninspiring time/place of Brampton, ON, 1980.
