Dear Andrew,
You died exactly two years ago. Your departure was shocking, unexpected, and devastating. Today, friends, family, former lovers have gathered to eat together, drink together, play games, and tell stories. You are loved and missed.
It has been a strange day. Tempers have sparked, and the outside world feels more oppressive than usual. It's good that we are huddled together. You're a great reason to have a party, but the world has a lot fewer bad ideas without you around, and that is neither fair nor just.
We can't believe you're still gone. You should be here.
