A letter to the Universe

May 08, 2012 13:38

Dear Universe:

Just writing to say thank-you for the lovely that is my here-and-now.  Thanks to Dreampepper, I have a better-paying job at an office, instead of more retail/near-minimum-wage drudgery with seemingly no end in sight with an indifferent company.

Music in my life continues to blossom, encouraging me to go further.  The band has released our first CD, always a wonderful feeling whenever that happens; and our recent performances appear to have been even more successful than I could ever have dreamt.  I continue to receive the same message from various sources:  just be yourself, play your music, and those who wish to, will follow.  Play and write to express, not to impress.

I continue to recover and rediscover this object that is my body that changes, mostly for the better, and I hope that our relationship continues to develop.

And best of all, I remain deeply in love with a wonderful lady.  Every day I consider myself lucky.  She is wisdom, beauty and seduction, all rolled into one.

And so, again, I say:  thank-you, Universe.  I've got more of what I need than ever before.  If there's any way that I can spread this fortune around, please let me know.

Yours Truly,

The Mythical Man
