Just got home from a glorious spectacle that was 'A Mad Dash for the Down and Out' at Café Deux Soleils. I need to go to bed, but not before making a feeble attempt to record this evening's revelries.
Were you there? If you were, then you know just how incredible this evening was; my eyes, ears, heart and soul are all buzzing from the wonder of it all. Performance after incredible performance, all night long. I even got to be a part of it, getting up on stage and singing 'Picture in a Frame' in response to a challenge to the audience from the magical Jess Hill, the person responsible for everything that happened tonight.
I have to work in the morning. I do not want this night to end. No doubt I will regret this in the morning that will arrive far too soon, but for now, my body is too busy singing psalms, glorias and hallelujahs to be tired.
