Played our monthly gig at Raw Canvas today. It was good. Not great, but good. It should have been better, but I'm having a continuation of minor mood swings and agitations, which tend to get in the way of fun. There were a few good highlights from the night:
- Met a woman at the show, a video blogger living in Taiwan who had been staying in Vancouver for about six weeks. She was scheduled to catch a flight to Seattle/San Francisco in a matter of hours to spend a couple of weeks there before returning home; and
- Raw Canvas makes an awesomedelicious waffle, served with vanilla ice cream, delicious choclate sauce and assorted nuts.
And now I'm home, been back for an hour or so. Time flies when you're checking all of your friends' updates on Facebook. I shoud be asleep, want to be asleep, but I also have the strangest urge to grab sandpaper and apply vigourously to various parts of my skin, and I keep thinking I'm hearing a mosquito buzzing around my head. My body is halfway to sleep, trying to coax the rest of me to just log out and lie down, dammit! I think I'd better do as my body says. We don't want anybody to get hurt.
