Music! Olympic pairs figure skaiting is playing in the background. According to one of the faceless announcers, one of the more popular songs for performers this year has been music from Requiem for a Dream.

Do you think that any of them have even seen the movie? The last six minutes alone would put many of them on the floor in fetal position. The images that flash through my brain upon hearing this, of potential skating routines too unspeakable for words, are not suitable for family viewing ... but it would definitely make me tune in to watch figure skating more often.
In a move that has me twisting inside, the Canadian pair is dancing to the adagio from Mahler's 5th Symphony (albeit somewhat molested with piano added - remember, Not To Be Fucked With.). Mahler. Their costumes are simple, black and white, a sharp contrast to what some of the other pairs are wearing. The woman from the Russian pair looked as though she had raped a peacock.
Mahler.

Because narcissism is for everyone. While watching this video, remember that, somewhere out there, someone is watching and thinking to themselves "He's hot!" Hypnotizing little video, dreamy little song, too.

Brilliant! From one of my Facebook friends about her young son's school project:
"It's the 100th day of school for Eldon. His homework? Make a poster of 100 anythings. What did he choose? One hundred equations that equal one hundred."
Nestled amongst all these colourful numbers is cleverness. Do you get the feeling that, someday, numbers are going to just sit up and beg for this kid?
