(no subject)
I'm a horrible person about not updating...it's sad.
Here are some recent additions to my life:
Aug 1 - 7: Had a lazy weekend staying at home. Got drunk after work on Wednesday at Rotolo's and went to see Pineapple Express afterwards. I was working in the lab all week and got to use power tools like a drill press and miter saw. It wasn't all that bad, and I still have 10 fingers anyway.
Aug 8-12: Went to the beach for the last time this summer. Got to go to the Flora-bama with the rents Saturday night. Hung out in Mobile Sunday and drove home Monday (making to BR in time for half-a-day's work). This will be my last week at LTRC/DOTD. Everyone really acts like they want me to stay, but I have other plans.
Back in May, I contacted Dr. Wolshon (the cool transportation professor) about any research projects he might have in order to gain some credit. Not only did he have a project that will count as a class, but I can get paid to do it! I said "sign my fat-ass up"! Anyway, I'll either be doing some computer modeling of a New Orleans hurricane evacuation or some data crucning with this new way they want to merge cars entering construction sites.
Aug 19-23: BAND CAMP!!! I'm both excited and terrified....excitedly terrified? Oh, Linda, have mercy.

- Alcohol, including: Shiner, Abita, Blue Moon...and other delicious beers, Corona + Vodka (tried it at the Flora-bama last weekend, the Corona pretty much masks the vodka taste)
- Full Tilt Poker...go to fulltiltpoker.com now and download the program and waste hours of your life...do it...right now! (I don't play for real money btw)
- Pandora...go to pandora.com and create personalized radio stations based on a favorite artist or song. I've known about this since 2005 but never actually used it until they made an application for my phone that lets me listen to it on the go
