Days of happiness

I've missed a few, because I've been in PItt, away from a computer. Time to make up for it all.

Day 2 (Friday): I got to see all those friends I haven't seen in months and months, because I came to Pitt. I also got stuffing, and watched Midnight Cowboy (I think I liked it...) with MacKenzie. Also, heated leather seats.

Day 3 (Saturday): Balloon Hackey-sack. At Des's Grad party, bouncing 3-6 balloons with 2-4 other people, and at one point bouncing them by dancing The Time Warp. Spending a whole day with Mark & (after he woke up & we got back) Kyle was also awesome. Didn't get to see everyone I wanted... but Pitt is always a little busy. I got to pass out on a couch while I recovered from the 3 hours sleep after 20-some hours awake.

Day 4 (Sunday): 50's weather, and the radio on the way back playing all sorts of songs I hadn't heard (or thought of) in years. Everything Zen (by Bush), Rape Me (By Nirvana), and Brim Full of Asha (by Cornershop), and that Ben Folds/Regina Spektor song. Also, listening to a number of albums I hadn't heard in four years. For most of his Music, I'd rather listen to Nick Cave read from a phonebook than play his music. However, his voice is so... perfect in every single way, that I would probably listen to the phonebook. Also, I'm not sure if Granddaddy ("Now It's On", "Yeah is What We Had") is clever or dull.

Did you know that, despite the fact that Bush's been one of my top-ten bands since I was 14, I've never owned Sixteen Stone? That's why I don't hear "Everything Zen" nearly often enough.
