Alkali Lake
They departed as the sun fell low in the sky, landing the jet several miles from the base and making their way on foot. They sighted the dam just as the sun was peeking over the horizon, golden rays beginning to filter through the rich green of the pine forest and glinting off of snow.
They settled into position for their initial surveillance and Erik looked over at Charles.
"Anything?"
