It's been forever since I've updated in here...I dunno, I guess I haven't really been in the blogging mood.

School's out for the quarter and I did fairly well- got 2 a's and a b. If my professor hadn't been such a douche with making the midterm and final on stuff that we didn't go over in class (and wasn't on the study guide), I would've gotten three a's. Oh well. There's always next quarter (where I'm not taken a single class that I want...all are required). I'm taking location sound, music theory for sound designers, and contemporary art history. Yuck. At least in the spring I'll have surround sound and live sound reinforcement. Those should be cool.

Carmine's in Connecticut for the break...it's the longest we've been apart since we started dating back in September. We talk on the phone almost every day though which is cool. I'll be going up to his place after xmas to do the meet-the-parents thing...hope it goes well...I don't usually have good luck with parents for some reason.

I was going through some stuff and found this AWFUL pair of earrings that Brian gave me for graduation. I swear, they're the ugliest thing I've ever seen (and gold to boot, which I almost never wear). I think I'm going to regift them...my aunt might like them, they're more her style (not that she likes ugly stuff, just that she likes the dangly earrings like that).

I can't believe that I graduated from GW almost two years ago (and from Greenbrier almost five years ago!)...time seems to fly rather quickly. It's funny...I never pictured myself in art school, but here I am. I honestly think that moving to Savannah was one of the best things that I could've done. DC was just not a healthy place for me. Like I was sick all the time there, and I've only been sick like twice here, and both were just a cold. My allergies are 100x worse though, but that's what allergy shots are for.

I need to get another job. I'm not getting worked enough (once last week, twice this week) and I seriously need the money. It sucks. I guess I'll wait tables or break down and go apply at the Carriage Tour Company even though I hate horses. The things we'll do for rent money.
