(no subject)
So I got made program director of SCAD radio. Go me. It
should be interesting, because it's totally different from being
program director of WRGW (for one thing, anyone gets a show). But
all and all, I'm excited.
I got the syllabus for my art history class today and I need to switch out of it, quick! The professor has a super strict attendance/tardy policy (and counts falling asleep as an absence, come on it's art history- it's boring!) Plus, he expects everyone to have a thorough knowledge of art history- which I know jack about. Further on in the syllabus he talks about how the student's own sketches are a welcome addition- what about the kids that can't draw?! I mean, I know it's art school but not everyone can sketch. My attempts at storyboarding in undergrad were laughable- even I couldn't tell what the picture was supposed to be of half the time. Plus, what he requires just sounds really, really hard. I hope I can drop it.
I saw the Brothers Grimm last night- I'd suggest that if you're really dying to see it, wait until it's out on dvd, or better yet, on tv. It isn't worth spending money on.
