That's a fine poem. If you think that "unfocused" means hinting at other things and describing connected events, you're wrong! That's what you're supposed to do. Everything in your poem immediately relates to the subject. So don't be afraid of writing if that's your main concern. It was good!

Oh, and freakin-crazy coincidences! I was doing a crossword with Paul today and one of the clues was "Vedder of Pearl Jam." I had E_die... and it took me about three additional minutes to finally figure out what the second letter was. ARGH! STUPID! Anyways, how funny that you should mention that in your journal today. Ah, and I'm glad you liked the concert. Seems like it was definitely worth the money, eh?

Absofreakinlootly worth the moneys! What else could E_die BE? Pretty funny.

As far as unfocused, I mean mostly about lyrics and such. I always have so much that I feel strongly about, and I haven't written much. So everything wants to come out in my writing, not just one thing with related events. I'm glad you liked this one, it definitely felt tighter, and good to write. Peace, dude.

Channing my love, I'm going to be in portland for 2.5 hours on wednesday b/c i am riding the bus home from La Grande, and have a long lay over in P-Town...You should come keep me company...I'll be bored, and scared. :) I hope all is well and that you guys had fun with jesse this weekend.
