"You don't know what you've got till it's gone"

"Don't it always seem to go that you don't know what you got till it's gone?"

Well that's one of my themes for this entry, but I'll get to that later...

Alright first entry of the new school year! (Shocking isn't it?) Well no, not really. Is it just me or did live journals sort of become extinct over the summer? I mean, we have those who still update all the time, and those who make those once in awhile updates, but it's seems that most people felt that MySpaces go could be the new way to go, I mean, you don't have to update those as much, it's just kind of one of those things you make and put a lot of work into and then just leave it. (And wait for the chicks to roll in ;-) *tumbleweed rolls by*)

So what's new? Well as far as school goes things have been good. I am now the President of Chorus, which is a cool thing. It's a hard thing to do though. I mean there are some who like what I'm doing and think it's a cool thing that Chorus has a president. (I personally feel that this year has been one of the better years of chorus so far) But then you have some who dislike the whole idea, come up with nicknames like "King Chorus" and so forth, and those who say, "Why don't the director's just do all the work?" Well everyone's entitled to their own opinions, but I just say, "Look at the facts" Do you think band would be as good as it is without student leaders? And isn't Chorus much better with student leaders and more structure? I think so, so that's my opinion. (And I'm looking forward to the Seacoast Choral Festival this Wednesday night, in Dover!!!)

Then there's band, which is also going well, it's been a weird year though, as far as cancellations and other mishaps, but I think we are going strong and next Saturday we are expected to be at the Dover Band Show (6 o'clock!) So that and the Choral Festival are two events you should go out and see if you can!

I also have Intro to TV Production Class which is a really fun way to start off my mornings, I have a lot of my friends in it and we make some pretty funny videos since we all seem to have a fun and funny sense of humor. I can't wait till we finalize some of our videos.

I'm also taking Business and Personal Law Class, but it's not that much of a learning experience, more like an easy A, but who says I don't need one of those? Trigonmetry is also going very well, I'm seeing some of the best organization skills I've ever had in that class and I'm doing well in that class.

So now time to move from school and to move to work. Working at Walgreens is a really awesome experience, it's deffinatly the best job I've ever had, good hours, and a good pay. Sure, it's the same repetitive motion of scanning, bagging and cashiering the merchandise, but I can make it as fun as I'd like to by talking to the customers, a lot of people say most customers are jerks, but for the most part I've realized if you treat them nicely they will treat you nicely. I've had some who just jerks no matter how nice you are to them, but that's when I can just make them look like morons by pointing out things that they did wrong. :P

Now to the family side of my journal entries, things are going pretty good with them, I don't get to see them much with my busy schedule, but "Peter Fraser!" is joining Chorus so that should be interesting to have him in one of my classes since he gets along with all of my friends anyways. And in other family news my (half) sister Kerrie was married yesterday so that was a happy celebration and I'm very happy for her and her husband Chris. (Despite it being an outdoor wedding in the rain, it was a really good time and it was nice to be there)

Now I'm going to do a cut to talk about some sad news that not everybody needs to know about.

Bradley Joy (1987-2005)

Last Wednesday early morning there a tragic car accident. There were two passengers, one is in critical condition, the other was announced dead, and was in such critical condition that he had to be identified. The victim was identified as Brad Joy. For those of you who didn't know him he was a Senior who use to go to Spaulding High School. (He only went for a few months and then moved to Fryeburg, Maine where he last resided). He did however go to RMS where him and I use to be really good friends, I remember hanging out with him and having fun, I liked him because he was a lot like me, maybe a little better looking and edgier, but him and I had a lot in common. and him teaching me things that helped me out when I had problems in 8th grade.

However, in March of 8th Grade him and I got into a fight and it ended with him and a few others impersonating me online claiming he was me and saying I was going to "shoot out the middle school" It was a horrible time, but it was just a bad incident that got way out of hand. We did end up starting to get along in June of 8th grade and started to talk some, but then school ended and he went to Fryeburg for the Summer. And when he came back during Freshman year he was only there for a month or two so we never got to talk again.

I had always wanted to talk to him again and try and regain the friendship we once had, but I just never made a point to because I figured I would always have the time to. Well, it obviously seems as though that will never happen. I suppose that's a lesson to be learned: If you were once great friends with someone, but had a big fall out, don't keep an amount of dislike towards that someone forever. Because chances are you and that person had a dispute that got out of hand, but you once cared about that person and there's no reason why a fight should destroy a special relationship you once had. So I think guess the whole saying, "Live life till it's fullest because you don't know when it will end" came in affect with my life. So from this day forward I will not carry any grudges with people and try to reconcile with anyone I've ever wronged.

And last, but not least, my own personal life. Things seem to be going well for me, my new job is really helping me with money problems I've had in the past. I've reconciled with friends and I don't have any enemies that i know of. The relationship life is kind of dry, but after over 2 years of being single I've kind of gotten use to the whole idea of girls not being attracted to me in that way.

But Senior year has been going good, I've already had lots of fun times with friends and it's only been a month and a half of school. So let the good times roll!
