Jeff as Peaceful Protester made the prairie dog, a local Regina paper.
I Made page 1. There is a large picture of me and an article containing quotations from me.
One correction: Technically, Marc Emery is not going to prison for *life* but the length of his prison stay is immaterial to the cause. He should not be imprisoned, period. Any capitulation to the States on that issue is a loss of sovereignty.
That and marijuana should definitely be legal, just like oranges, coffee and sugar should be legal. (I can tell the reporter didn't follow my logic on this one, because it is not in the article).
The point is though, that there's going to be thousands of people in Regina who will encounter the pro-marijuana march last week(since they weren't there) as it was portrayed by me, as a conservatively dressed square-like authority figure. I know it's illogical to appeal to authority but sometimes you have to do so to get your point across. I'm hoping that this approach will be marginally more successful than the standard dreadlocks-and-tool-T-shirt pothead's approach.
We'll need all the help we can get.
