I encourage you all to learn about
Digital Rights Management and the harm that it does to people, communities, nations, Computer and other Science, Music (and musicians). I've spent tens of thousands of dollars and hours on being aware of the world around me and important issues within it and if anything is the fruit of my labour it is this conviction. Do not buy DRM if you can, and if you cannot avoid it consider it as a serious design flaw in your purchase decisions. Do not develop DRM if you can, and if you cannot avoid it at least charge more than ten times what you would otherwise ask(and put half of that into the pockets of the
FSF. Bring awareness of DRM to your peers and to your government, and protect the former from DRM with the later.
This group is probably one of the better sources on the matter.
